CourTex Construction and our team have had a great 2023—thanks to our many clients who continue to recommend us to their friends. We want to thank all of your for your support and give you this chance to help us celebrate some of our best accomplishments in 2023.
Our greatest pleasure is bringing families together through sport. And, we had the opportunity to build lots of courts in backyards that will give kids and their parents enjoyment for years to come. Here are a couple of examples.
We also built many commercial and public courts during the course of the year. Our biggest project was the new pickleball facility at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas. This is now the largest pickleball facility in the country, and it hosted this year’s PPA National Championships tournament in November. This gigantic project with both indoor and outdoor courts was completed by our amazing team in just 5 months. The $5.2 million project added 30 new pickleball courts, six new tennis courts and two courts for the sport Padel. For the tournament, we temporarily converted tennis courts for pickleball play, so the country club boasted a total of 78 pickleball courts for the tournament. It was the largest tournament in US history.
We were also chosen, for the second year, as an Inc. 5000 honoree for being one of the fastest growing private companies in the US.
This fall, we opened a new office in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, to better serve that market. We have a full-time manager with years of experience in the court-building industry working out of that office.
We also began offering a couple of new products. For those interested in tile surfacing, we are now an official dealer for SnapSports Athletic Surfaces. We added Acrytech surfacing to our product line early this year, and anticipate adding even more high-tech acrylic surfacing products to our line-up in the coming year.
